Conceived
as two separate accessories structures connected by an exterior covered
terrace, this project creates an urban condition in rural landscape.
THIS PROJECT EXPLORES THE MINIMAL CONDITION OF THE URBAN: THE SPACE BETWEEN TWO OBJECTS SITUATED IN A RURAL LANDSCAPE.
Deployed on the edge of a terraced escarpment, the
experience of individual to collective is futher developed by a singular window
facing the distant natural rural landscape. The structures are composed of
locally grown douglas fir, that was cut and milled on site.
